Insurance Policy Enforcement Consultants LLC (IPEC) is a privately held consulting firm, specializing in commercial insurance and risk transfer mechanisms. We don’t sell insurance and we don’t work for insurance companies or brokers. We are independent insurance experts with no financial stake in our clients’ insurance-buying decisions, which enables us to provide objective advice.The firm was founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to advise corporate, governmental and charitable organizations on exactly what their insurance policies cover, and what they do not cover, how to negotiate for the best coverage and how to get disputed claims paid without expensive litigation. In less than two short years IPEC has established a national practice. |

| IPEC makes available to our clients the vast experience of our specialists… Claims Our claims specialists have been active in the insurance industry for over 30 years. They have held the positions of Litigation Suit Supervisor, Claim Supervisor, and Senior Claim Representative with domestic insurers. They have handled and supervised an array of first party and third party claims, including the investigation of claims and evaluating coverage and settlement. They have experience with issues pertaining to regulations and statues regarding claim handling, investigating potential fraud, insurance underwriting, cancellation, reformation and rescission, as well as agent/broker/insurer relationships and standards, default judgments, assignments and various other issues related to all types of insurance policies. These experts have experience with the analysis of claim handling, investigation, communication, coverage and settlement involving over thirty different insurance companies. Insurance Brokers As recognized experts in the insurance and risk management fields, our insurance broker specialists have more than 30 years of experience as underwriters, retail brokers, program managers, consultants, expert witnesses, and senior executives at major insurance services companies. They have extensive backgrounds in insurance broker operations, insurance industry standards of care, insurance marketing in the United States, London, Europe and Bermuda, and alternative risk financing. Reinsurance Our reinsurance specialist has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, holding senior management positions in several reinsurance companies. He has also served on more than 110 insurance/reinsurance panels of arbitration, including 49 in the capacity of umpire, and 21 international proceedings. In addition, he has mediated or facilitated numerous other industry disputes. He now works on special projects that demand expert industry knowledge pertaining to strategy formulation, organizational design, and insurance due diligence risk evaluation. |
